Despite the aftermath of freezing temperatures and lingering slippery road conditions, the Burnet County Commissioners Court conducted business like always, in part, to handle a charged issue.
Commissioners convened at the regular time of 9 a.m. Jan. 27 at the Burnet County Courthouse, 220 South Pierce Street.
Near the beginning of the meeting, during a closed-door, executive session that ran 80 minutes, the commissioners studied legal matters pertaining to the Bell County East to Big Hill 765 kilovolt Transmission Project.
