The Marble Falls High School Chorale will present a Home Preview concert Monday, March 2 at 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium.
This concert precedes their trip to New Mexico to perform for the Southwest American Choir Directors Association Convention.
This organization spans seven states. This is a first for MFISD and a high honor as only four mixed high school choirs are chosen.
Marble Falls High School is the smallest and only 4A school invited.
“We will be taking up 2 types of donations that evening. The first donation is for a homeless shelter in Albuquerque,” said Choir Director Bryce Gage. “As part of our service to SWACDA we will be performing at a homeless shelter and we are wanting to bless them by taking up warm socks, personal hygiene items, lip balm and feminine products. We thank you for helping us bless them.
“The second donation is, we are taking up monetary donations to keep up with all the programs and trips the choir program is participating in,” Gage continued. “We are asking for a $10 donation for everyone attending the concert (excluding parents). There will be a cash donation box and a QR code to make an online donation.”
