Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) is supporting National Read Across America Day, March 2, to help young students foster a lifelong love for reading. As part of PEC’s commitment to provide educational resources and opportunities to Central Texas youth, the cooperative engaged members, employees, and students to read stories to students both online and in the classroom.
This week, PEC added six new readaloud videos to its Literary Expedition Library, a free resource for elementary school students, parents, and teachers. Singer-songwriter Cory Morrow contributed to PEC’s video book collection this year by reading aloud “The Book with No Pictures” by B.J.
Novak.
