The Marble Falls High School softball team lost Salado 11-0 March 13 in a contest that ended in five innings.
The Lady Eagles (157-1, 4-0), who scored nine runs in the first inning, had 10 hits and the Lady Mustangs recorded seven errors.
”(The Lady Eagles) find ways to put the ball in play,” Marble Falls head coach Alex Lozoya said. “They run hard, they run aggressive, and they just continue to put pressure on you. And I think that’s something you have to have. You got to compete with every pitch to grind it out and see where you get. They’ve put it on everybody in this district so far.”
