Marble Fall Rotarians invite the public to be part of Marble Falls’ most legendary race (no running required).
The Rotary Club of Marble Falls invites the public to join their 0.5K Fun Un-Run: A Race from the Recliner to the Couch Saturday, April 11, at 11 a.m. in downtown Marble Falls, 800 Third St. It’s open to all ages.
This isn’t your typical community run. In fact, running is not allowed.
The Rotary Club of Marble Falls 0.5K is for those who prefer a more relaxed approach to racing.
This hilarious “race” is perfect for champion loungers, casual walkers, and proud underachievers who want to support a great cause while having a great time.
Whether you’re here to share a laugh, embrace the fun, or simply support a great cause, your participation helps Rotarians continue making a difference in the community and beyond.
With a whopping 500 steps from start to finish, this may be the most fun you’ve ever had pretending to exercise.
Race levels include: Sofa Springer, $35 – Conquer all 1,640 feet like a champion; VIP (Very Idle Participant), $65 – Skip the entire course and go straight to the finish line, because walking 500 steps is simply too much; Pajama Jogger, $35 – Race virtually from anywhere on your couch (because 11 a.m. is just too early for a race); Bed Head Snoozers, $10 – Racers ages 412 (Tousled hair encouraged, bonus points for mismatched slippers); and Snack Break Sprinters, $0 – Racers ages 0-3 (Short attention span? Totally fine. Snacks are basically part of the training plan.)
Proceeds benefit Rotarian philanthropic campaigns.
Beer and wine available for participants 21+ before, during, and after the race. Live music dowtown – bring a chair and stay awhile.
Whether you run, stroll, or simply spectate, you won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind event benefiting the community through Rotary service.

Bring your lawn chair, cheer on your fellow “athletes,” and relax in the downtown area while enjoying live music and great community fellowship.
