The Burnet County Friends of NRA plans to hold their annual fundraising event Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Marble Falls Putters and Gutters.
Friends of NRA fundraising events are essential to supporting thousands of community services related to firearm education, hunter safety, wildlife conservation, range improvements, youth marksmanship, law enforcement, and other shooting sports interests. Working with NRA Field Representatives, committee members and volunteers organize events in their communities, complete with auctions, special drawings, and fellowship.
Much of the merchandise at the events is donated or provided at reduced cost by hundreds of participating vendors.
The upcoming banquet in the area will feature firearms, custom knives, exclusive merchandise and more. Live Auction, raffles, dinner and special drawings.
Friends of NRA is a grassroots fundraising program that fosters community involvement to organize and, with help from NRA field staff, plan local events for firearms enthusiasts and Second Amendment supporters.
Funds raised by Friends of NRA will be deposited into the newly-developed NRA Patriot Fund or NRA Freedom Action Foundation.
Half of all net proceeds will be directed to the State Fund account for grant distribution to qualified programs at the local level and the remaining fifty percent will be used to fund similar national NRA programs and operations.
At a Friends of NRA event, you will meet police officers, firefighters, and other first responders as well as engineers, shopkeepers, teachers, and all manner of other individuals from your community working together to support the important cause of preserving our rights and heritage.
Tickets may be purchased online or by calling Mark at 830-6934613.
