A wave of restaurant closures in the past two months has spooked some merchants in Marble Falls, while motivating others to alter business plans.
Since the beginning of 2026, eateries which have closed include the upscale Adele’s Restaurant & Lounge, Wingman's Barbecue and Bear King Brewing Co., which also served as a restaurant.
All the businesses were located on U.S. 281 in Marble Falls, and all reported the cost of doing business prompted their closures.
