It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christine Morris-Hearn who left us on June 21, 2024 (age 53) after a beautiful but short-lived life that was full of love, laughter, and resilience.
Chris joins her parents, James and Nancy Morris; brother, Spencer Morris; and sister, Barbara Baker; who preceded her in death.
Chris is survived by her dedicated & loving husband of 31 years, David Hearn; daughters, Katrina (Anthony) Swigon and Kassandra (Kevin) Clark; sister, Beverly Boudreau; and brother, Douglas Morris.
Christine was a selfless, determined and beloved mother, wife, sister, friend and teacher who touched and changed the lives of all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Chris was an expert cosmetologist and loved making her clients feel their best. She continued her passion upon moving to Texas from Illinois in 2017 and opened Creative Roots Salon in Marble Falls, TX in 2018. Chris, with support of the Lampasas High School and community, established the LHS Cosmetology program in 2018.
Chris will be laid to rest at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, TX with a private, family ceremony. To com-memorate her life and to celebrate the love she spread, the family will have a celebration of life gathering at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the Lampasas High School Cosmetology Program (Venmo: @ LISD4HEARN), where a scholarship is being set up in honor of Chris. She loved teaching and was dedicated to her students. If you were a student of Chris, know she was fiercely proud of and loved you deeply.
