Battle on the Colorado returns June 5-7 with formula 1 (F1), F-Light, Tri Hull and Talent Cup racing on the crystal-clear Colorado River at Lakeside Park. Museum Tours
On Friday, May 29, join a self-guided tour to area galleries and tasting rooms for a Night of the Museum. From 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. spend an evening exploring the stories, art and history with a glass of local wine in hand. Visit ve local museums and galleries while enjoying tastings from wineries along the way. Participants receive a wrist band or “passport” with a $20 fee at the rst stop of their choice. Freedom Rally
VFW Freedom Rally Car & Bike Show is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park area behind VFW, 1001 Veterans Dr. in Marble Falls. There is a $20 registration for the show. The event features food, live music and more activities. Visit maineventcompany. com.

State Park
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is hosting a second round of public meetings in Waco and Burnet to gather feedback on the Public Use Plan for Post Oak Ridge State Park. Attendees will have the opportunity to review the directions for day use. The local meeting is: Thursday, June 4, 6-8 p.m. at the Agrilife Extension Auditorium, 607 North Vandeveer St. in Burnet.

The Kids Summer Reading Art Contest is being sponsored by the Marble Falls Public Library. The theme is ‘Mysteries Await At Your Library’. Juneteenth Event
June 20 from11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the public is invited to the Marble Falls Juneteenth event at Westside Park. Bring your own chairs. The celebration is hosted by St. Frederick Baptist Church, the City of Marble Falls and African American History Museum. Attendees can hear music and enjoy barbecue and sides. Donations are welcome. CPR Classes
Marble Falls Area EMS is hosting a Save-A-Life class on May 31. Class times are 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at the EMS station, 609 Industrial. There is no charge for CPR instruction, but $15 for rst aid training. Email [email protected].

Farmers Market
The Burnet Farmers Market is open and running every Saturday. The market operates from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the historic Burnet County Courthouse square, featuring local produce, homemade goods and crafts. Markets start in mid-May and go through November.
