Residents express concern over zoning discord with city

I would like to take this opportunity to educate and express my concerns to all residents of Marble Falls on how our city officials/government conducted themselves on a recent situation that hugely impacted us.

I would like to take this opportunity to educate and express my concerns to all residents of Marble Falls on how our city officials/government conducted themselves on a recent situation that hugely impacted us.

My wife Mayrean and I are former owners of 411 12th St in Marble Falls, which is the property directly adjacent to the old First Baptist Church.

We were approached directly by a developer a while back and subsequently agreed to sell our property for a sales price of $1.15 million which ultimately did not close. The developer/ buyer was considering rezoning our property to commercial usage but never got that far in the process with the city of Marble Falls, so we were unsure that it could even happen.
