High school students throughout the college’s 11-county service area also received the CTC Chancellor’s Scholarship, valued at $1,500 each. The finan cial awards continue the college’s mission of making higher education accessible and affordable for students.

2026 Marble Falls High School graduate Isabelle Guimaraes Fragozo is the recipient of the Central Texas College Chancellor’s Scholarship. Guimaraes Fragozo received this scholarship in recognition of her hard work and academic achievement.

The scholarships support students pursuing academic degrees, workforce training and career certifications at CTC.

“The generosity of our donors continues to transform lives through education,” said Valerie Payson, Executive Director of the CTC Foundation. “These scholarships help stu- dents overcome finan cial challenges, remain focused on their studies and pursue goals that might otherwise be out of reach. We are grateful for the community support that makes these opportunities possible.”

The foundation raises scholarship funds throughout the year through community- supported events including its annual golf tournament, purse bingo, bowling tournament and other fundraising initiatives. Donations from local businesses, alumni, organizations and community members continue to expand opportunities for CTC students.

Foundation board member Cyd West emphasized the importance of investing in students and strengthening the community through education.

“By continuing to expand scholarship opportunities, the Central Texas College Foundation is helping students stay on track toward graduation, career advancement, and long-term success while reinforcing CTC’s commitment to accessible education for all,” she said.

Central Texas College’s next scholarship application window is open July 1-31 with scholarships awarded for the fall semester which begins Aug. 17.
