An online fundraiser launched by loved ones described the victim as a “happy teenager.”
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Eric Josue Sanabria. Our family is devastated as we try to process this sudden, unimaginable loss and navigate the dif- ficult days ahead without Eric,” organizers of the page wrote. “Eric was a deeply loved son, brother, and grandson who brought so much love, kindness, and joy to everyone who knew them.
“Their presence touched so many lives, and their loss leaves a space that can never tru- ly be filled. Eric was a happy teenager who always put a smile on everyone’s face. He loved wrestling with his brothers, spending time with his friends, and family.”
Marble Falls ISD leadership released a statement in reference to the deceased juvenile, a student at the district.
MFHS Principal Patrick Hinson wrote: “It is with deep sadness that we share the loss of one of our students last night (June 11). Our hearts are with the student’s family, friends, classmates, and all those who knew and cared for them during this incredibly difficult time.”
The district is offering emotional support for those who knew the victim.
“We encourage families to check in with their children, listen to their concerns, and reassure them that it is normal to experience strong emotions following a loss,” Hinson wrote. “If you believe your child may need additional support, please feel free to bring your child to the high school on Monday, June 15th, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Counselors will be on hand to visit with your student.”
