The City of Marble Falls has officially can celled Stage 3 water restrictions and returned to Stage 2 water restrictions effective immediately, following the successful completion of recent water infrastructure improvements.
The recently completed improvements have enhanced the city’s water system capacity and reliability, allowing officials to ease conser vation measures while continuing to promote responsible water use throughout the community.
While conditions have improved, Stage 2 water restrictions remain in effect for all City of Marble Falls water customers, both inside and outside the city limits.
Residents and businesses are encouraged to continue conserving water to help ensure a sustainable supply, particularly during periods of high demand and seasonal drought conditions. The city appreciates the cooperation and commitment demonstrated by our residents, businesses, and visitors during Stage 3 restrictions.
Their efforts played a vital role in preserving our water resources while these important infrastructure projects were completed. Information regarding current Stage 2 water restrictions, watering schedules, and conservation requirements is available through the City of Marble Falls. Stage 2 watering restrictions under Stage 2, irrigation of landscaped areas utilizing spray irrigation, including automatic irrigation systems, hose-end sprinklers and soaker hoses, is limited to a once-weekly watering schedule.
Permitted outdoor watering hours are: Midnight to 10 a.m.; and 7 p.m. to midnight.
The watering schedule is: residential odd-numbered addresses on Wednesdays; Residential even-numbered addresses on Thursdays; Commercial properties and public schools with odd-numbered addresses on Friday; Commercial properties and public schools with even-numbered addresses on Tuesday; Hose-end irrigation for odd-numbered res- idences on Saturdays; Hose-end irrigation for even-numbered residences on Sundays.
“The city encourages all customers to continue practicing water conservation habits to help maintain a reliable water supply for the entire community,” according to a press release.
