It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our Dad, Bobby Jack (BJ) Nolen, on June 24, 2024 at the age of 82. He was surrounded by family during his final moments and surrendered his life peacefully.

Bobby was born in Terrell Texas on October 27, 1941 and he was raised in Mercedes Texas by his Mother, Katie “Barnett” Nolen and his Step-Dad, LLoyd Nolen.

Bobby had a love for trucking and drove over the road for years seeing all parts of the US. He collected unique local beers from the different states that he visited. In 1992, Bobby and his three boys opened their own trucking company named Nolen and Sons Truck-ing. Bobby continued to drive until he was forced to retire about 15 years ago due to health complications.

He is survived by his three sons, Roy Nolen, Charles “Bud” Nolen and Jack Nolen.Grandsons, Andrew Nolen, Dakota Nolen and Bobby Nolen. Granddaughters Deidra Cosner, Katie Nolen, Laura Lee Nolen and Abigail Nolen. Great Grandkids, William, Kalynn, Athena, Caysen, Ollie and Laina.

They will all continue his legacy of living life to its fullest and he will be missed by many.
