The Highland Lakes Chapter of the Texas Tech Alumni Association hosted a 1923 Society reception in the home of former Chancellor Robert Duncan and his wife Terri on the evening of June 27. Approximately 75 people were in attendance.
The reception was pleased to welcome President Lawrence Schovanec of Texas Tech University and TTU System Chancellor Tedd Mitchell.
Other guests present were August Alvarado, U.S. Representative John Carter’s district director; Senator Pete Flores (SD24); Senator Kevin Sparks (SD-31) and his wife Jill; Stacy Smith from HD19 Rep. Ellen Troxclair’s office; Worth Farabee and Shelton Green of Texas Tech University System Governmental Relations; Ron Hendrick, provost; and Brian Still, vice provost.
