Hurricanes typically kindle local wet weather

Devastating weather on the coast typically sig - nals rain in the forecast for the Highland Lakes area, officials say. Meteorologists remain reserved about the lat - est severe weather event, Hurricane Beryl, which could result in storms ear - ly next week.

Meteorologists remain reserved about the lat - est severe weather event, Hurricane Beryl, which could result in storms ear - ly next week.

"There's still much uncertainty with regards to impacts for Texas at this time," said Meteo - rologist Bob Rose of the Lower Colorado River Authority, on his blog.
