A 50-year-old man suffered nonlife threatening injuries after he col - lided with a train in Burnet.

According to Burnet Police Department, the call was reported at 10:46 a.m. on July 1 in the 1900 block Texas 29 East. Burnet Police Capt. Jeremy Stewart told The Highlander that the driver was in the inside lane traveling eastbound.

"The train was already in the right-of-way crossing," Stewart said. "The (crossing) red lights were activated.
