Momentum building for spiritual fellowship geared for area women

A free event called Come Together will be held July 27 at the Burnet Community Center, 401 East Jackson St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A couple months ago a group of pastors’ wives gathered for the first time to begin planning for an event that has not happened in Burnet before … at least not in the last 20 years. Our hope is that this is the beginning of something that will continue for years-to-come.

The vision for this event is that pastor’s wives and the women’s leaders of our area churches would host an event to unify our community of women, that the event would be held in a neutral location, it would have lunch included and the entire event would be free.
