Marble Falls City Council announced July is Parks and Recreation Month.
During its special meeting July 9, council members declared, “Parks and recreation are vitally important to establishing and maintaining the quality of life in our communities, ensuring the health of all citizens and contributing to the economic and environmental well-being of a community."
Mayor Dave Rhodes recited the entire proclamation before Mayor Pro-Tem Craig Magerkurth and council members Lauren Haltom, Griff Morris and Richard Westerman.
