Eight months ago Granite Shoals residents were outraged over reports that the city’s wildlife committee was considering widespread euthanasia of feral cats. Today, the city can’t find enough people to serve on the cat committee, successor to the wildlife committee.

Eight months ago Granite Shoals residents were outraged over reports that the city’s wildlife committee was considering widespread euthanasia of feral cats.

Today, the city can’t find enough people to serve on the cat committee, successor to the wildlife committee.

The committee is down to two members, chairwoman Michele Landfield told the city council at its meeting Tuesday, July 9.
