Hidden Falls Golf Course in Meadowlakes recently hosted two junior golf camps for local kiddos aged 7-17.

For their June 4-6 camp, they had seven young golfers and most recently, for their July 9-11 camp, they tripled the camp size with 17 participants. Beginners and intermediate young golfers spent three mornings going over the basics: etiquette, rules, grip, swing dynamics, putting, chipping, irons, and drivers.

The camp’s instructor, Reed Norman, emphasized the program’s impact on the future of golf: “It was very encouraging to see the kids excited to be outdoors and learning and honing a new skill. Many of them verbalized a desire to keep practicing and to one day play for their school team. We saw a lot of talent out there and got great feedback from the players and their guardians. We’re excited to keep this going every summer.”
