Summer bash at the Y draws a crowd

Special to The Highlander Friends at the Highland Lakes YMCA threw an end-of-summer bash which attracted families from throughout the area.

The well-attended event July 25 included a pool party and splash pad access with other activities which motivated attendees to play hard for quite the workout.

The party was the last opportunity for YMCAmembers and the public at-large to participate in free group water activities at the facility as well as good-natured sports competition.
