Marble Falls ISD parents, teachers and students should keep their eyes on a few important upcoming dates.
Elementary Meet the Teacher is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 12; the first day of school for the upcoming 2024-25 school year is Wednesday, Aug. 14; a student and staff holiday this fall is Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2; and Homecoming Week public events are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, Sept. 19-20.
Other important dates include:
• Aug. 8, Meet the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. at Marble Falls High School Max Copeland Gym;
• Aug. 12: Elementary Meet the Teacher, 5-6:30 p.m., Marble Falls Middle School Open Campus/ Walk Your Schedule 5:307 p.m.;
• Aug. 14, First Day of School;
• Aug. 16, 6 p.m. at MFMS cafeteria, Meet, Greet and Eat (MFMS athletic team); and • Aug. 24, Register online for the Mustang Spirit Clinic for your future cheerleader or Starlette. Held at the MFHS Mustang gym from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for PreK4-5th grade, cost is $55, T-shirt guaranteed if registered by Aug. 13 and snack included. Please bring water, spirit and smiles, perform at home game on Aug. 30.
• Sept. 2, Labor Day student and staff holiday
• Sept. 16-20, Homecoming Week
