Library film series comes to a close

The “World’s Greatest Natural Icons" film se ries at Lakeshore Library wraps up this Friday, Aug. 23, at 2 p.m. with the last in this exemplary series, “Life.”

These documentaries celebrate well-known natural, iconic landmarks, natural phenomena such as fire, ice, water, wind and the lives of living beings from around the world.

Each episode has explored up to a dozen global natural icons and the forces of nature that created them.
