Edna Yuvonne Behrns Schwarz

Mrs. Vernon F. Schwarz nee Edna Yuvonne Behrns of Highland Haven, Texas, formerly of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 6, 2018, at the age of 83 years.

Yuvonne was born Sept. 5, 1934 in Tow, Texas, the daughter of Dayton and Gladys Behrns.

She was a graduate of Llano High School and Draughons Business College in San Antonio.

She married Vernon Schwarz on Aug. 14, 1953, in Llano Texas.

She was employed by Pioneer National Bank that later became American Bank of Texas, obtaining the title of vice president. This allowed her to organize the travel program, escorting many on enjoyable trips all over the country.

After retiring in 2008, she and her husband moved to Highland Haven and enjoyed the quiet lake life. She enjoyed watching the birds and swinging on the back porch. She was most happy spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is best know for her kind and caring heart. She always put the needs of her family and others before herself. She loved being her musician husband’s No. 1 fan.

Yuvonne is survived by her husband of 65 years, Vernon Schwarz of Highland Haven; two daughters, Linda Enderlin of Highland Haven and Cindy and Bill Allen of New Mexico; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Vallree Draper of Sonora and Wynona Behrns of Harker Heights; and brother, Terry Behrns of Tow.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Carroll Behrns.

As per her request she will be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been set up, Linda Enderlin Edna Yuvonne Schwarz memorial, at First United Bank of Texas in Fredericksburg/Marble Falls or donate to the charity of your choice.
