The Horseshoe Bay Property Owners Association (POA) is using their Boogie at the Bay center stage sponsorship on July 1 to honor local police officers and law enforcement personnel in Horseshoe Bay for their efforts keeping the community safe, the Horseshoe Bay Business Alliance announced.
The POA’s special “Back the Blue” night will highlight the police men and women of Horseshoe Bay and Llano and Burnet counties and salute their daily (and nightly) service to the community. HSBBA officials said patrons are invited to bring a beer, blanket and a buddy to “say thanks” to HSB’s finest.

Jennifer B & The Groove are a four-piece, high-energy Austin, Texas, band who play a wide variety of music, including blues, roots rock and Americana music. With a fresh unique approach to some great classic covers, the band also incorporates new, original music written by Jennifer, featuring her powerful, soulful, gut-wrenching blues voice and heart tugging lyrics.
“There’s an awful lot of Janice Joplin sound in her voice,” said Mike Brittain of the Horseshoe Bay Business Alliances, which produces and hosts the Boogie concerts.
“We are grateful to our HSBBA Board of Directors for their focus on safety first approach to this year’s concert series.”
