Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties (OWBC), the local Community Action Agency for Williamson and Burnet Counties, is reinventing its “Style Show” fundraiser to raise funds for its Meals on Wheels program this spring.

The Style Show has previously been held separately in both Sun City and Marble Falls; however, this year, the event is being combined to only take place in Marble Falls.

Now called “Sip & Shop,” this fashion-forward fundraiser includes a luncheon, wine and beer tastings, an exclusive fashion show featuring local boutiques, and a pop-up boutique shopping experience.

The event is Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls. Tickets are $50 each or $350 for a table of 8.

All funds raised benefit Meals on Wheels, and OWBC hopes to raise $45,000 in funding to support the program. OWBC also aims to fill up the venue and obtain 200 ticket sales, which is the maximum number available. Tickets are available to purchase online here.

Fashion Show

Five local boutiques will participate in the fashion show and dress senior models from Sun City. The boutiques include Salem’s Fashions, Ciao Bella, The Blue Door Gift Store & Boutique, XLR8 & Co, and Two Black Cadillacs. Each boutique will prepare four spring looks for our ladies to model.

Pop-Up Boutiques

Pop-up boutiques will have a 10x10 area to sell women’s fashion apparel and accessories, jewelry, salon services, home décor, and more. This would be a good fit for online boutiques who typically only sell online. Cost is $150. Only 12 spaces available. Popup boutiques can register online here.

Wineries & Breweries

OWBC needs six more wineries/breweries to join us at this event! Participating wineries and breweries may set up a booth to serve wine/beer by the glass, sell bottled wine/beer or merchandise, or offer free samples. Cost is $150. Wineries/breweries can register online here.

Bakeries Bakeries may participate at no cost. OWBC is holding a live dessert auction where tables can bid on the dessert they would like. OWBC asks that 13 local bakeries donate two desserts that serve a table of eight. Bakeries can register online at www.owbc-tx.org.

Sponsorships ranging from $100-$10,000 are also available for organizations who cannot commit to attending but would like their brand in front of 200 attendees. These are great opportunities for businesses to promote their services while also supporting our Meals on Wheels program.
