When Marble Falls art gallery owner Bernie Sachs was approached with a unique request, he knew he had to draw beyond his usual palette to create something meaningful for a U.S. Air Force veteran. 87-year-old Robert Mead, a Korean War veteran, delivered several old photographs of the bomber he and his crew flew on in 1953 to Bernie’s Art Gallery & Custom Frame Shop for a special commission. …
