Lake Area Rods and Classics will present the 20th annual Bluebonnet Car Show 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada Monday, April 8. Central Texas will experience varying degrees of total darkness as it is in the “totality zone.” Due to the large crowds expected locally to view the total eclipse, Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) will not be opened to the public as usual (sunrise to sunset, daily).

Downtown businesses and the city of Marble Falls will team up to provide a block party event for the April 8 solar eclipse. Ms Lollipop’s Parties Fun & Gifts, 208 Main St., is inviting visitors and locals to help “rock the block” that day leading up to and after the event.

The First Methodist Church of Marble Falls will provide fun for families on Easter weekend with a helicopter egg drop. The egg drop event is happening March 30, from noon to 2 p.m.
