Burnet County’s animal control officer has responded to numerous calls but none like the incident which resulted in closure for a young woman mourning the loss of her best friend. “Someone had seen this dog multiple days, sleeping by a cross on county road 200 and thought I should look into it because there weren’t any houses around,” Burnet County Livestock Deputy Jason Jewett said.
