Youngsters volunteer to clean Kingsland Slab

Billy Scott and his children, David and Sarah, took it upon themselves Monday, June 22, to clean up trash left behind by partiers at the Slab in Kingsland. The cleanup yielded 25 large black bags filled with trash, which Waste Connections in Johnson City agreed to take for free. They even inspired help from a passerby, Daniel, who was in the area and wanted to pitch in to finish up the work. Scott encouraged residents that if they see people littering at the Slab "take pictures of them and post them on Facebook or report the people to the Llano County Sheriff's Office" to help catch those who commit the act.
