Lee Holton George of Marble Falls passed away on Wednesday morning, November 18, 2020, at the age of 82. He was the tenth child of thirteen children, born November 30, 1937 in Donie, Texas to Odell and Jewell George in Freestone County.

Holton was a Gospel preacher since age 19 and preached for various congregations in Texas and held Gospel meetings in many states.

Holton married Reta George on June 6, 1958 in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Holton is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, six sisters and son Robbi George. Holton is survived by his wife of 62 years; son Daryl George of Richmond; daughter Lisa Hornbrook and husband John of Plano; daughter Lori Hanson and husband Tod of Weatherford; and daughter Linde Francis and husband Keith of College Station; sister Rita Jo Black and husband Argie of Teague; seven grandchildren, Connor James of Dallas, Harrison Hornbrook of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Lauren Hornbrook of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kate Rollo and husband Jackson of College Station; Wesley Hanson of Bryan; Bayle Francis of Fort Worth; and Reid Francis of San Antonio.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Friday, November 20, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls. A graveside service will be held at George Cemetery, Teague, Texas on Saturday at 3 p.m.
