Marble Falls Fire Rescue takes to the sky for crisis center

Body
Marble Falls Fire Rescue lent a hand to the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center with their inaugural Wednesday, April 28, Denim Day Ball Drop at Lakeside Park. HLFCC sold chances to win one of five prizes, with each chance represented by a golf ball that was dropped from a fire department ladder truck. Denim Day is a campaign to raise awareness and educate the public about rape and sexual assault. The first Denim Day held in 1998 as a protest against an Italian Supreme Court decision to overturn a rape conviction because the victim wore tight jeans. Contributed
