Body

A handful of cattle escaped from a pickup truck trailer around 8 a.m. June 9 in Marble Falls, prompting several agencies including Marble Falls police, pictured here at the intersection of U.S. 281 and Second Street and residents on horseback, above right, in the northeast quadrant of the city to assist in rounding them up. More bovine were either spotted and/or recaptured around town on Circle Drive, 6th and Avenue G, near Granite Mesa and along Mormon Mill Road near Mustang Ridge, Parkview and Highview. No injuries or accidents were reported as a result of the temporary escape.
