Permit applications for two sand and gravel plant operations are pending possible approval following a public commenting period over the next three weeks. Collier Materials has submitted two applications considered “administratively complete” by the Lower Colorado River Authority for planned dredging work to extract excess sand deposits on Lake LBJ and on the arm of Llano River in Kingsland. …
