A family on The Cape became part of an unexpected wildlife rescue mission on Thanksgiving weekend, which unfolded outside the window of their lakeside home. The Ports first spotted the white-tailed buck around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, as they peered across Lake LBJ from their dining room. “The lake was calm.
