The Marble Falls High School football team meets up with the Sharyland Pioneer Diamondbacks in the second round of the UIL 5A-2 playoffs tonight in San Antonio’s Heroes Stadium.
The Mustangs (7-2) defeated Brenham last week on a game-winning field goal to advance to the Area round game.
The Diamondbacks (6-0) are undefeated on the season and pummeled Medina Valley 42-23 in the opening round match.
The Mustangs’ defense will look to slow down Pioneer quarterback Eddie Lee Marburger, who leads the team in passing and rushing yards this season.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Heroes Stadium, 4799 Thousand Oaks Drive in San Antonio.
