Test results from a Texas National Guard mobile COVID-19 testing site in Marble Falls came back Friday, May 22, with all individuals testing negative, Burnet County Judge James Oakley said.
Seventy people were tested by the Texas National Guard and Department of State Health Services at the Marble Falls Fire Rescue station on May 12.
Llano County officials are still waiting for 32 test results from a mobile testing sites held May 13 at First Baptist Church in Kingsland.
Personnel from Ascension Seton Highland Lakes, in conjunction with Burnet city and county officials, are continuing to conduct nasal-swab COVID-19 testing at the Burnet County Fairgrounds each Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. However, that testing will not be done without an order from a primary care physician or a virtual appointment through Ascension Seton Highland Lakes.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases attributed to Burnet County remains at 29, with at least 21 of those individuals considered to be recovered (two are actually individuals who reside either out of the county or out of state). The DSHS reports that 555 people have been tested so far in Burnet County for COVID-19.
In Llano County, the COVID-19 case count remains at three cases with all recovered and no new cases having been reported in more than a month. The DSHS is reporting 301 people have been tested so far for COVID-19 in Llano County.
