Mrs. Nilla “Evelyn” Luckie Naumann, a lifetime resident of Burnet County, Texas, quietly departed this life Saturday, September 20, 2025 in Spicewood at the home of her daughter, Janet Wilson where she resided for the last five wonderful years of her life.
Evelyn was born in Marble Falls, Texas on January 23, 1937 to John Byron Luckie and Opal Tessie Hall Luckie. She attended school in Marble Falls and worked many jobs, the last of which was a position as a Court Clerk for the Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace, Burnet County. After retiring she was a homemaker and caregiver for her late husband.
She was united in holy matrimony to Halton Ray Naumann on July 10, 1954 in Marble Falls, Texas. They enjoyed 61 years of marriage and had three children. Halton preceded her in death on July 11, 2015. Also, preceding her were two sisters, Wanda Hall Hopkins and Sara Fay Frazier. She is survived by her children: Doris Jean (Tom) Buford, Kenneth (Melody Gail) Naumann and Janet Naumann Wilson, all of Spicewood, Texas, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her brother, Thomas L. Luckie.
Mrs. Naumann was a member of Spicewood Baptist Church where she and her husband helped with repairs and participated in various church activities. They were dedicated members for many years.
Evelyn loved growing beautiful flowers and she also loved animals of all kinds. She was an avid crocheter and mastered the art of crocheting delicate table cloths.
