“Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord.” Isaiah 41:10 Fay was born to Irene and Carl Pogue April 1, 1927 and left her temporary earthly home September 22, 2025, bound for heaven, to live her dream, being with our Lord Jesus.

Fay is survived by her six sons; David (Nita), Donald (Carol), Damon (Janice), Darrell (Terry), Dale (Bonnie), and Dana, her grandchildren Jane, Stephanie, Dusty, Lacey, Jennifer and Bo. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren with one arriving soon, one brother-in-law, Carlos (Shirley), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Fay was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Elmo, her brothers Milton (Edith) Steward (Dorothy), her sister Lula Belle Hays (J.C.), brother-in-law Halton Ray (Evelyn), sister-in-law Verna Lee Wallace (John) as well as nieces and nephews.

Fay worked at Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator, where she was introduced to the love of her life, Elmo Warren Naumann, by her friend, Arleta Brysom. They were married October 17, 1948. Then Fay got very busy having baby boys, starting in 1950. She had one boy, Darrell on their 10th Anniversary. She worked as a waitress at a couple of cafes, from 1968 to 1973. In 1973, she got a job at Winns in Marble Falls in the material section. Fay would buy up material and make dresses for her granddaughter Jane, to wear to church with her on Sunday mornings.

When Fay finally quit work at Winns, she helped the boys at the farm, sewed, took care of her flowers, watched football and baseball games and enjoyed her time with her family and friends.

Visitation for Fay is Friday, September 26th from 5 - 7 pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 27th at 11 am at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. After the service on Saturday, Fay will be laid to rest at the Haynie Flat Cemetery at Barton Creek Lakeside, Spicewood, Texas.
