Our Dad. Jacob William Cradoct. went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

January 16,2026.

He was bom August 1.1930 in San Antonio, Texas, to Earl W. and Velma Cradoct.

J. W. graduated from San Antonio Edison High School in 1948 and, following a fouryear stint in the Navy, attended San Antonio Junior College for two years before graduating from the University of Corpus Christi in 1957. His first coaching assignment was at Bames Junior High School, coaching football and track, where the last 5 years were as Head Coach, hi 1968. he moved to Moody High School as football. Offensive Coordinator arid then in April. 1982. to Flour Bluff High School as Athletic Director and Head Coach where they won the District 4A Championship that same year. On January 18.

2003. he was inducted into the Coastal Bend Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

J.W. Joined the Navy in 1947 at 17 years old, right after graduation from high school. At the time his uncle was at Pearl Harbor and they had just been bombed. He enlisted for 3 years but his time was extended due to the Korean War. Following his third mission, his time was up in the service. He went back to the States with the intention of reenlisting on the east coast.

Upon his return to his home, he met Mary Ann and did not reenlist.

,T. W. is preceded in death by his wife. Mary Ami Riggs Cradoct. the love of his life for 70 years.

He is survived by his five children. C'indy Willliite, husband John. E)ebbie Sosebee. husband Marc. Barbara Ysasi, husband Rueban. Betty Harville. husband David and Jay Cradoct. Jr.. wife Diane. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Services will be at First Baptist Church, Marble Falls on Thursday. January 22 at 11:00.

Viewing will be at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 Thursday.

Interment will immediately follow the service at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. Park Rd 4. Bumet. Texas.

Special thanks to Mark and Betty Tisdale and so many other neighbors and church friends who have loved and cared for our parents so well!
