Elsie Lee Kinsey passed away peacefully on Sunday February 8, 2026 at Kyle Texas. She resided at Legend Oaks Rehabilitation Home.

She was born on August 20.1941 to Oscar and Dollie Harris at Oatmeal. Texas.

She attended school in Austin Texas and in her high school years, found summer jobs where she worked at Whites Pharmacy and White Top Soda Fountain in downtown Austin. She met the love of her life Ernest Lloyd Kinsey while working at “Tags” Drive Inn in Austin, where she wore roller skates while taking orders from customers. the wife of a plumber.

Elsie was a strong woman and never complained about hard work or chores. Elsie loved the outdoors, her plants, and her Magnolia tree which she loved to see in full bloom. She loved the beach, fishing, boat rides, touring museums, siteseeing and was great at catching armadillos! She loved all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a contributing member of the Marble Falls congregation at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Dollie Harris, husband. Ernest Lloyd Kinsey, sister Virginia Bazernore, sister Linda Wagner, and brother Clifford Harris.

Elsie married Lloyd Kinsey and together they had 5 children. She was married to her “mate” for 60 years and had many adventures as they traveled around Texas with their RV.

Elsie is survived by her children. Tim Kinsey & wife Ruby of Austin Texas, Matthew Kinsey and wife Cherrie of Kyle Texas, Dollie Kinsey Bauman and husband Jay of Marble Falls Texas, Douglas Kinsey and wife Gigi of Georgetown Texas. Tracy Kinsey Millegan, and husband David of Kingsland Texas, sister Inez Heflin Cortez of Kaufman Texas, and a brother Jimmy Harris of Mason Texas.

She has 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.

She is loved and missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 14.

2026 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. 1607 Mormon Mill Rd. Marble Falls Texas.
