Amelia Ontiveroz Castillo was called on Saturday, July 5,2025. She died peacefully of natural causes at the age of 93. She was born on November 29, 1932 in Fredericksburg, TX. Her parents were Domingo and Santos Castellano Ontiveroz. Her early years were spent in Gillespie County, TX where she attended Meusebach Schools along with her five sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include her daughters: Josie Middleton of Round Rock, TX; Gloria Jean Castillo of Albuquerque, NM; and Sonia Castillo of Spicewood, TX. Her sons are Phillip and Vivian Castillo Jr of Kathleen, GA; and Patrick R and Michelle Castillo of Bellevue, ID.

Surviving grandchildren are: Alex Middleton and Rachael and Omar Martinez of Georgetown, TX; Thomas E Arrant of Austin, TX; Tiffany and Jimmy Lindsay of Panama City, FL; Diana and Josh Degre of Hickory, NC; Lili and Cole Castillo of Bellevue, ID; and Lenore Castillo. Also her sisters Rosa O Rivera and Lela Ontiveroz of Fredericksburg, TX and Beatrice O. Castillo of San Antonio, TX.

Her numerous great grandchildren are: Tristan Castillo and Marley Moss of NC; Emily, Mattie, Axel Degre of NC. In addition, Lottie and Bodhi Lindsay of FL; and Jake and John Martinez of TX.

Throughout the state of Texas there are numerous nieces and nephews.

Amelia was known for her devotion to her husband, family and her Roman Catholic faith.

Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2025, from 4 - 7 pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, Texas, with the Rosary being said at 5:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10:00 am at Queen of Angels Chapel in Spicewood, Texas. She will be laid to rest in the Fall Creek Cemetery in Spicewood, Texas.
