Judy Terrell Daniel

June 19, 1940 —July 14, 2025

Judy Terrell Daniel passed July 14, 2025. Judy was born on June 19, 1940 in Plainview, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Willora Young Terrell; father, Woodson Earl Terrell, brothers Billy Earl and Jerry Dwight, and sister Clydene Terrell Oliver. She is survived by her husband, Robert Daniel of Highland Haven; two children Lisa Daniel Malesky and her husband Chuck, and Jym Travis Daniel, all of Round Rock, Texas; and five grandchildren - Grayson Daniel and wife Ellen, Madison Daniel and fiancé Cody Smith, Allyson Daniel, Peyton Malesky Chambers and husband Chris, and Travis Malesky; and two great grandsons River Lee and Bryer Aspen Chambers.

She was raised on a farm and attended school in Lockney, Texas. As a child she accepted Christ as her Savior. Her family moved to Plainview when she was in the 8th grade. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1958, then attended West Texas State and Sam Houston State College before locating in Austin, Texas.

Robert and Judy fell in love and married November 2nd, 1963. They had so many wonderful times together. He was truly the love of her life.

Her years of employment were with the Texas High School Coaches Association in Austin, and she retired in 1997. They relocated to Highland Haven on Lake LBJ shortly after retirement. Robert and she enjoyed traveling and had fun times with family and friends at their cabin just outside of San Saba. They were always dreaming of how they could do more before age caught up with them.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church and the H.O.P.E. Class in Marble Falls. It is a church filled with God’s love.

Cherished memories were made with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, finding many occasions to enjoy times together. She was “Nummy” to her grandchildren and was famous for her chocolate chip cookies - always trying to have them available when they visited. She could not have had a better life.

Visitation with family will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday July 18 at First Baptist Church in Marble Falls, Texas, with Services at 3:00 p.m. Graveside will follow at Lakeland Hills Cemetery. Condolences may be made at: www.clementswilcoxfuneralhome. com
