Douglas Lee Johns, 68, of Kingsland, Texas passed away on September 17, 2020. He was born to Glover and Rita (LeCuyer) Johns on May 31, 1952 in Washington DC.

Lee spent his entire adult life committed to public service. He worked for the Minneapolis, Minnesota Police Department until the mid-1990s.

After his time in Minneapolis, he took a brief break from law enforcement and worked for the Pillsbury company until they merged with General Mills. He spent the last five years serving as an investigator for the Marble Falls Police Department.

In his spare time Lee enjoyed tinkering with computers in tech support and software, trading and collecting coins, and admiring antique hot rods.

He is survived by his wife and partner of fifteen years, Julie Tewell-Johns of Kingsland, Texas; sons Seneca Johns and wife Aimee of Tampa, Florida, and Devon Johns of Marble Falls, Texas; stepchildren Harley Smith, Chase Smith, and Jillian Hill. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan-Marie, Vivian, Jacey, and Juliana.
