Lois Fay Robinson, 73, of Kingsland, Texas passed away December 13, 2020. She was born to James and Vedith (Curtis) Simpson on March 11, 1947 in Berryville, Arkansas.

Fay’s family moved from Arkansas to the great state of Texas when she was very young. They lived in Stanton and Greenwood before settling in Midkiff. While living in Midkiff, she attended Big Lake High School where she graduated in 1965. After graduation, she worked for J.C. Penny and later Midland National Bank.

She married the love of her life, Loren Robinson in 1968 in Midland, Texas shortly before he was sent to Vietnam. The couple moved to Kingsland, Texas in 1978.

Most of Fay’s professional life was spent caring for the elderly. The past five years she worked selflessly for Visiting Angels where she made countless friends. Fay was a woman who always put others before herself. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it and not think a thing about it. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed.

Fay also loved to bake. Whether it was fudge, peanut brittle, or tiger butter she could often be found in the kitchen cooking up some wonderful treats for her family and friends. She was an active member in the Kingsland Community Church and an active participant in the annual rummage sale. She also ran the “We Care” ministry providing rides for the less able, to and from their doctor’s appointments.

She is survived by her loving husband of fiftytwo years, Loren Robinson; children, Sharla Leeds and husband Richard of Houston, Texas and Brian Robinson and wife Patti of Nacogdoches, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Leeds, Jeramy Leeds, A.J. Leeds, Tanna Leeds, Kenneth Hinton, Samantha Rawls, Jessica Gilson, Cody Robinson, and Brianna Robinson. She also leaves behind one brother, Glen Simpson, eleven greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.

A memorial service will be Friday, December 18 at 11 a.m. at the Kingsland Community Church in Kingsland, Texas with Dr. Phil Hoyer officiating. An online guest registry may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.

Fay’s care entrusted to Putnam Funeral Home and Crematory, 145 Texas Avenue, Kingsland, Texas 78639. (325) 388-0008
