Robert (Bud) Raley was the beloved husband of Patty and father of three children, Chet Raley of Boynton Beach, Florida, Trinda Berl of St. John’s, Florida and Bret Raley of Conroe, Texas. He was the brother of Carolyn Edwards of Marble Falls, Texas and Bud was grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 1.
Bud attended Texas Tech and West Texas State where he earned a degree in physics. He was employed by the Department of the Army at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. He worked in Research & Development of weapons.
He lived on the Chesapeake Bay and enjoyed fishing, boating and waterskiing. He was a competitive water skier and held two American Water Ski Association Records in slalom skiing.
Bud had a tremendous influence on many young men and women who benefited from his fun loving, decent, kind and helpful ways. He is loved and mourned by many.
