Vivian Inez Tobey of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away on February 25, 2021 at the age of 88. She was born May 21,1932 in Brownwood, Texas to Orville and Elsie Bradley. Vivian was married to Chester M. Tobey, her high school love, for sixty-six years before his death in 2019.

For many years, Vivian played the role of both mother and father to her three sons. Vivian was a supportive military wife and mother. She was able to lovingly raise her three boys while away from close family as they traveled throughout the United States and overseas.

Vivian settled in Marble Falls in 1973, close to her sister Melba’s family, while waiting for her husband to return from Vietnam. Vivian made many close friends in Marble Falls and was a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Vivian was a fun-loving and spirited woman who was the life of the party. She loved shopping, casino trips, and her Wii games. As a loving Grandmother and “GiGi” to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, Vivian helped make many wonderful memories. These are stories the family will cherish forever. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was the much loved mother of Randall (Donna), Dan (Tina), and Kenny (Sheila); loving grandmother of Amanda, Katy, Jamie (Jason), Casey (Jason), Shelly, Cody (Bella), Brad (Jill), and Kendal (Adam); cherished “GiGi” of Keiley, Bristol, Jonathan, Jacob, Jayden, Tobey, Caleb, Danielle, Jazlynn, Isiah, Aaliyah, Emmett, Beyah, Mason, Piper, and Payton.

A graveside service will be held at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1 p.m.
