Marble Falls Mustangs football games will not have the packed stands that most fans are accustomed to on Friday nights after the UIL released guidelines for 2020-21 sporting events. On Aug. , the UIL issued a mandate that requires school districts to limit seating at athletic matches to 50 percent capacity.
Marble Falls Independent School District officials are adapting to the changes to this year's school and athletics programs.
"Health and safety are the most important things we are dealing with," MFISD Athletic Director Rick Hoover said in a press release. "The new restrictions are challenging, but we need to do everything possible to keep our kids and our community safe."
