Mustangs athletes sign commitments to play at next level

Mustangs senior baseball player Luke Nail (center) committed to Blinn College in Brenham to continue his journey on the diamond. Nail flashed versatility in the shortened 2020 baseball season with improved pitching ability and strong hitting instincts. In a social media post, Nail thanked his coaches and mentors.

Senior Kason O’Riley recently inked a commitment to the University of Oklahoma for track and field. O’Riley qualified for the state meet last season in the high jump and is likely to be one of the favorites for the gold medal this season with a current personal best 6’10” jump, which is top five in the country.
